That brings back memories. When I was little we had cinder block bookshelves with small items in the blocks too. We painted the blocks black and did the shelves in orange and yellow. What amazes me is how something like that gets dispersed and you have no clue where all the stuff went years later. BTW, I didn't notice The Physics of Star Trek on your Zaadz/Gaia Bookshelf but I see it behind you. What other goodies missed the cut to get on the list?
